BULBS - Domestic influorescences
Paris & Marseille, 2026
Residency : CIRVA & Manufacture de Sèvres
Exhibition at Villa Noailles, Design Parade 20
The Bulbs series explores the metamorphosis of the living in the age of the Capitalocene *.
The emergence of hybrid lamps, conceived as living organisms, calls into question the industrial proliferation embedded in our ways of life.
Through a re-appropriation of ornament, they invoke both the artisanal heritage of our species and that of productivist standardisation: craft knowledge, nature and technology are here envisaged in balance and harmony, at the edge of future forests.
This project, carried out during a dual residency at CIRVA and the Manufacture de Sèvres, continues a broader research into the anticipation and materialization of post-capitalist imaginaries: wild systems.
